The Farmer Report was commissioned by the previous Housing Minister Brandon Lewis MP which was tasked with examining new, modern housing methods relating to the labour market to help deliver the Government’s housing goals.

Its primary conclusion was to advocate for more modular housing construction using modern, low carbon materials to construct energy efficient homes.

WElink supports the Report’s conclusion for the need for more modular housing as a solution to the UK housing crisis, but believes it can be done at a more affordable cost through precision engineering at an industrial scale.
